Job summary

mpathic is hiring a Senior Front End Engineer to design and build high-performance React/TypeScript interfaces across our AI safety platform. You will own the frontend from wireframes to production, collaborating closely with backend engineers and cross-functional teams.

You will work on data-rich web applications, focusing on performance, usability, and maintainability, with opportunities to influence UI/UX and product direction in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with CSS-in-JS (Emotion or Styled Components).
• Experience building data-heavy web apps with charts, graphs, and real-time updates.
• Knowledge of state management, component libraries, and frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Tailwind, MUI, CSS Modules, or similar styling approaches.
• Experience integrating frontend with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to provide work samples demonstrating frontend engineering and product sense.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain intuitive UI for mpathic’s web apps.
• Build data-rich interfaces with AI outputs and complex workflows.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to product design through wireframes and interaction input.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-device usability.
• Develop reusable frontend components and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot frontend issues and optimize architecture and UX.
• Stay current with frontend tech and evaluate new approaches.
