Job summary

The NBA seeks an experienced full-stack engineer to own the Integrity platform end-to-end, building backend services and frontend interfaces for the Integrity Team to triage, investigate, and document content surfaced by AI-driven analyses.

The role collaborates with data scientists, investigators, and attorneys, with a fast-paced, confidential environment and a remote-friendly option one day per week.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for full-stack development.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend architecture powering the Integrity platform, including scheduled jobs and services.
• Design and build the front-end UI for review workflows, including alert queues and case views.
• Integrate anomaly detection models into production with deployment, inference, versioning, and monitoring.
• Ingest and harmonize data from betting markets, basketball data, OSINT, and internal systems.
• Improve reliability and observability across the stack with alerting, logging, and health monitoring.
• Build audit-ready capabilities with RBAC, evidence exports, and durable records for investigations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, investigators and the Legal department on investigations and data needs.
