Job summary

Procense is seeking a mid-senior full-stack software engineer to join our SF Bay Area team. You will build AI-powered software that connects industrial IoT with ERP and QMS systems, driving automation and data-driven decisions on the shop floor and in quality operations.

You will own end-to-end features across the stack, collaborate with leadership and customers, and mentor peers to advance a high-impact engineering culture in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks — React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience building backend services in Node.js, Python, Go, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLMs and workflow automation.
• Bonus: exposure to IoT integrations, or GMP/21 CFR Part 11 environments, startup experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain new features, bug fixes, and platform improvements to the Procense software suite using React, Typescript, terraform, postgres, and AWS managed services.
• Collaborate with leadership, product management, and customers to gain deep domain knowledge and scope projects that meet customer needs.
• Develop software that integrates with ERPs, QMS systems, and Industrial IoT devices.
• Guide architecture decisions and mentor other engineers.
• Contribute to team and company processes to keep the team high-impact and cutting-edge.
