Job summary

Monumint is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build the future of AI for financial services. You’ll work across the entire stack to deliver products used by banks, credit unions, and lenders every day, from intuitive UI design to scalable backend systems and AI-powered workflows.

You will own features from idea to production, partnering with teams to integrate with CRMs, loan origination systems, core banking platforms, and third‑party data sources.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building production software, preferably at an early-stage startup.
• Strong experience with Node, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Postgres, Docker, and K8.
• Experience designing and building APIs, databases, and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to take a half-formed problem and figure out the right shape before someone hands you a spec.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers.
• Leverage AI tools with opinions about where they help and where they don’t.
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with a high degree of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features.
• Own work from concept to production, making thoughtful technical and product decisions along the way.
• Build modern frontend experiences with React, Next.js, and scalable backend services.
• Develop AI-powered workflows, automations, and integrations with the systems our customers rely on.
• Integrate with CRMs, loan origination systems, core banking platforms, and third-party data providers.
• Support customer onboarding, debug issues, and turn feedback into product improvements.
• Improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platform as we continue to grow.
• Leverage AI tools to move faster while maintaining a high bar for quality / engineering excellence.
