Job summary

The Isaacson Foundation, doing business as Empower Ministry, seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop both front-end and back-end applications and to build the supporting infrastructure. This hands-on role reports to the CTO and involves working within a start-up environment to create a secure, scalable, AI-enabled Resource Center.

You will own full-stack development, infrastructure, and DevOps, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with leadership to

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on, full stack software development as an individual contributor.
• Frontend and backend development with APIs and systems integration.
• Infrastructure and DevOps including CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations.
• Cloud infrastructure operations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Security fundamentals including IAM and endpoint/network protection.
• Experience in a non-profit or ministry environment is a meaningful plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the frontend and backend of Empower Ministry's applications and platform.
• Develop APIs and data access within the CTO's architecture.
• Implement tools and platforms selected by the CTO to integrate components.
• Write clean, maintainable code and ship features from build to production.
• Build and operate infrastructure as code and cloud environments.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for reliable releases.
• Ensure security controls and data privacy across systems.
• Provide internal technical support and documentation.
