Citi is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to lead AI-enabled engineering initiatives in Citi Banking Technology, focusing on M&A business line. You will design, build, and deploy scalable full-stack apps using Java, Angular, microservices, and event-driven architectures in a regulated enterprise environment.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience, expertise in agentic AI, and the ability to mentor staff while collaborating with Architecture, Security, and Risk teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on full-stack software development.
• Proven experience designing scalable microservices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Expert in Java and Angular.
• Experience deploying GenAI and LLM-enabled systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable full-stack apps using Java, Angular, microservices, and event-based architectures.
• Lead the integration of AI capabilities into applications, deploying agentic AI solutions for M&A use cases.
• Architect and implement microservices and event-driven systems that are resilient and performant.
• Develop front-end interfaces using Angular with responsive UX.
• Participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Promote code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and documentation practices.
• Stay updated on AI, agentic systems, and full-stack trends, proposing innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
