Job summary

WorkNovas LLC is seeking a New Sr. Full Stack Engineer to work onsite in Rockville, MD, with a focus on Angular/TypeScript frontend, Java backend, and AWS cloud integration. You will lead design reviews, implement schema-driven forms, and advance a regulatory filing platform while reducing maintenance and accelerating delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI-assisted development, mentoring teammates, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable micro-frontends and robust APIs on AWS.

Qualifications

• Must have daily hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in production, with concrete workflow automation examples.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field with extensive experience (7+ years) or equivalent training/work.
• Production experience with Angular and TypeScript on current release line.
• Strong OO development in Java and design for distributed services.
• Hands-on AWS experience and strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI applications (Angular micro-frontends) and backend services (REST APIs, Lambda).
• Author and evolve JSON Schema and layout definitions and the rendering/validation pipelines.
• Manage the filing lifecycle from draft to submission including cross-system validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers to improve code quality, performance, and testing.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and address technical risks and cross-team dependencies.
