Job summary

Go Fractional is seeking a hands-on, full stack engineer to lead end-to-end delivery across the stack from backend services to modern web UIs. You will set technical direction for client engagements and act as the go-to escalation point for tricky challenges in Denver.

You will pair program daily, advocate TDD, own the testing strategy, and guide architecture for scalable, observable systems in containerized environments using cloud providers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full stack engineer with collaboration in agile environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.
• Proficient in Python and/or JS/TypeScript; strong opinions on repo layout and tooling.
• Diagnosed and fixed production concurrency problems (async/await or threads).
• Advocate of TDD and pair programming; owns testing strategy across the codebase.
• Designed deployment, IAM, and observability for containerized systems on cloud providers.
• Experience working across startups to enterprise; ability to bridge functions and explain risks.
