Qualifications

• Experience with cloud hosted applications and AWS services.
• Experience with development, maintenance, and testing of software following industry best practices.
• Experience with highly available, highly concurrent web-based applications.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze & Design – Ensure artifacts model customer requirements and create design models from requirements.
• Implement & Perform – Develop designs following Pearson coding standards and industry best practices.
• Review – Participate in requirements, design and code reviews.
• Test & Deployment – Work with QA and other teams to release high-quality software and write unit tests.
• Quality/process improvement – Contribute to group efforts to improve process and product quality.
