Jobot is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale core systems powering an AI-enabled platform. You will work across product, infrastructure, and AI-driven systems to solve real-world problems in a fast-moving environment.

The role emphasizes building agentic workflows, scalable APIs, and AI-powered features with a focus on product impact and ownership. On-site work in NYC or SF with strong engineering culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals, Python preferred; NodeJS is acceptable.
• Full stack experience with modern web frameworks, especially React and Typescript.
• Experience with distributed systems or event-driven architectures.
• Interest or experience in AI-native or LLM-powered products.
• High ownership mindset and ability to operate in fast-moving environments.

We’re partnering with a startup building AI powered systems to modernize a complex legacy industry that has historically relied on manual workflows and outdated tooling. In under a year, the company reached ~$10M ARR, became profitable, and is on track to scale to ~$30M ARR this year.

The product sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and real world impact, using LLMs and agentic systems to replace hours or weeks of manual work with intelligent, scalable software. Job Details

We’re hiring software engineers to help design, build, and scale the core systems powering this platform. This is a highly cross functional role where you’ll work across product, infrastructure, and AI driven systems to solve complex, real world problems.

What You’ll Work On

• Building agentic systems that automate complex, multi step workflows end to end
• Designing scalable backend systems, APIs, and event driven architectures
• Developing AI powered features using LLMs in production environments

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production systems
• Strong backend fundamentals, Python preferred for backend focused engineers (NodeJS is fine too)
• Full stack experience across modern web frameworks (React and Typescript preferred)
• Experience with distributed systems, async processing, or event driven architectures
• Interest or experience in building AI native or LLM powered products
• Strong product instincts and attention to detail
• High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments
