Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to own end-to-end development of high-impact features, from design through launch, and to build AI/LLM-powered workflow automation.

You will collaborate with Product, Finance, Leadership, the Tech Lead, and C-Suite stakeholders to shape the roadmap, improve internal tooling, and ensure data integrity across complex financial data systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production systems.
• Expertise in Python/Flask, TypeScript/React, Tailwind CSS, data warehouses, and tools for data and AI, or similar technologies.
• Experience participating in a rotating on-call shift, including investigating, triaging, and resolving immediate production issues.
• Strong ownership mindset and responsibility for end-to-end initiatives.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on tight feedback loops.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments.
• Curiosity and practical experience with AI and LLM technologies, focused on responsible production use.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative approach.
• Strong database, data warehouse, and data integrity experience is a plus, including auditability and version control/change tracking for critical datasets.

Responsibilities
