Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build complex government-focused applications. The role emphasizes collaboration in agile teams, modern UI for microservices, and strong back-end and DevOps practices.

You will translate requirements into technical specs and contribute to documentation. The candidate will have 5–10 years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular/React, web services, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–10 years of programming or web development experience.
• Hands-on with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, React, and Node.js back-end frameworks.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases; AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and DevOps culture.
• Identifies reusable functionality and implements as a reusable component.
• Knowledge of IT standards, SDLC, and project management frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube.
• Experience in designing solutions using AWS; AWS SDKs a plus.
• Candidates must obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 of the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop solutions using agile practices.
• Design and develop applications with simplicity, reliability, and scalability in mind.
• Adhere to coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning and estimate user stories.
• Troubleshoot problems with existing applications.
• Design, build, monitor, and test infrastructure.
• Develop a modern, responsive UI for microservices-based apps.
• Leverage latest web UI/UX development tools and techniques.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Document technical details and training materials as needed.
• Support program requirements, metrics, data quality, and strategic analysis.
• Collect and analyze data to produce forecasts and recommendations.
