Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex full-stack features across a high-traffic eCommerce platform, owning work from database layer through to user interface.
• Architect and optimize back-end services and APIs using Node.js, integrating cleanly with front-end systems.
• Write and tune SQL queries to support efficient, reliable data retrieval and manipulation across large datasets.
• Conduct thorough code reviews that uphold engineering standards and elevate the quality of the broader codebase.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, sharing knowledge and helping the team grow in capability and confidence.
• Contribute to large-scale, high-visibility projects that directly shape the customer experience on a flagship digital platform.

The Role

This is a hands-on senior engineering position with a clear path toward technical leadership. You will split your time between writing sophisticated, production-grade code and guiding the quality of work across the team through structured code reviews and mentorship.
