Job summary

BEL USA is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software across front end, back end, APIs, and databases for internal and external users in Medley, FL. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape technical direction and improve platform performance.

You will own the full development lifecycle, write clean, well-tested code, and ensure security, privacy, and performance from the start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, forms, accessibility, profiling, and testing (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright).
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, asynchronous patterns, and scalable back-end services.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, migrations, and performance optimization.

• Design and build modern eCommerce services within a scalable, secure AI-driven platform.
• Develop high-quality front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks.
• Implement and maintain APIs, data models, microservices, and background workers.
• Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL schemas, queries, and data performance.
• Own the full development lifecycle: design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code aligned with engineering standards.
• Instrument applications with logging, metrics, tracing, and contribute to reliable alerting and runbooks.
• Build with security, privacy, and performance in mind from the start.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive reliability improvements through post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a strong engineering and review culture.

We are seeking a highly skilled and solutions-driven Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality software systems that power our growing business. This engineer will work across the full technology stack—front end, back end, APIs, and databases—to deliver secure, reliable features for both internal and external users.

As a key member of the engineering team, the Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape technical direction, enhance platform performance, and uphold modern development practices. This role will also contribute to engineering standards, developer tooling, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen our overall technology foundation.

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.
