Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Engineer to design and build Java/Spring Boot services and React/TypeScript user experiences in New York City. You will develop secure REST APIs, integrate with cloud and enterprise services, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD deployments.

The role requires collaboration with product, QA and offshore teams, onsite coordination, and adherence to enterprise governance and security standards. Bachelor-level CS background preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, React and REST API development.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-ready architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Amazon RDS and secure coding.
• GitLab CI/CD and production-support readiness.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Java, Spring Boot, React 18+, TypeScript and REST API development
• Microservices, PostgreSQL/Amazon RDS, unit testing and secure coding
• GitLab CI/CD and production-support readiness
• Life and annuity domain application development experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and build Java/Spring Boot services and React/TypeScript user experiences

In addition, should be able to do the following

• Play the role of onsite coordinator for offshore
• Able to conduct RCA and provide and implement solutions

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 a year
