Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an experienced Engineer in Charlotte, NC, for senior web application development. The role emphasizes Java and React expertise with mandatory MyBatis experience and cloud deployment know-how.

The candidate should have 8+ years of hands-on experience, strong OOPS fundamentals in Java, and exposure to RESTful API design. Angular skills are a plus, as is familiarity with Spring Boot and testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in web application development using Java and React.
• Must have MyBatis experience.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs architecture.
• Experience deploying apps in OpenShift or cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of OOPS with Java and Spring ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java and React across layers.
• Implement and integrate MyBatis components.
• Deploy and operate apps in OpenShift or similar cloud environments.
• Ensure secure, scalable design following best practices.
• Lead unit, integration, and automated testing; follow BDD where applicable.
• Contribute to design patterns and microservice architecture discussions.
• Collaborate on technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Primary Skill: Java, MyBatis
• Secondary: React, Angular.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in web application development using Java and React
• MyBatis experience is must
• Experience in deploying application in Openshift Containers or relevant cloud environments
• Strong proficiency in OOPS concepts with JAVA and knowledge of RESTful APIS Architecture.
• Strong exposure to Angular application development is a must
• Min. 5 years of experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring MVC along with Unit Testing, Integration Testing and BDD Testing.
• RDBMS knowledge and/or exposure to MS SQL server database.Authoring of technical documentation that communicates in a clear and detailed fashion the proposed technical solution.
• Very good understanding of Security aspects, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), OWASP guidelines.
• Experience in Performance Analysis and applications tuning.
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and microservice architecture.
• Hands on experience in Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP);
• Exposure with apache camel or spring integration is considered a plus.Hands on experience with Kubernetes and exposure in no-SQL databases is considered a plus.
