Starbucks is seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the Data & Analytics Hub in Nashville. You will design and evolve a unified internal web platform, building reusable frameworks and modern applications for secure data operations.

You’ll own front‑end and back‑end development, aligning with design, security, and governance standards. You’ll lead engineering standards, mentor peers, and partner with Designers, Data Engineering, Architecture, and DevOps to deliver cohesive, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on full stack web development expertise.
• Deep understanding of React patterns and modular code organization.
• Experience with Node.js and Express for API development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and GraphQL for API design and consumption.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with document-oriented and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Experience with component libraries and front-end frameworks.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for web apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support internal web framework for data operations.
• Build modern, responsive, accessible UIs aligned with Starbucks standards.
• Develop scalable APIs and backend services with current frameworks.
• Translate UX designs into high-quality production code.
• Ensure security, privacy, and data governance compliance.
• Maintain shared UI components and services across apps.
