Job summary

New York Life is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to help build data-driven analytics apps. You’ll design intuitive UI with React and Streamlit while crafting robust cloud-native backends using Kubernetes, DynamoDB, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years as a full-stack developer with interactive apps
• Proficient in React.js/JavaScript/TypeScript and web fundamentals
• Proficient in Streamlit or Python-based UI for data viz
• Back-end familiarity: Kubernetes (EKS), DynamoDB, containerization, CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS) and API design/microservices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain front-end applications using React and Streamlit to visualize insights
• Develop APIs leveraging FAST API for analytics web apps
• Collaborate with data teams to integrate front-end with cloud backends for scalability and security
• Build and manage APIs, workflows, and services with Kubernetes, DynamoDB, Jenkins
• Define product requirements with cross-functional partners and structure dashboards
• Champion UI/UX best practices for intuitive user experiences
• Lead code reviews and improve software development practices
• Identify opportunities to optimize platforms and propose AI-enabled improvements
• Engage with stakeholders as a technical advisor
