Job description

Position Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer.

Position Summary: This position will perform software engineering and programming for this client's 340b and EDI suite of applications within the company infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

1. Understand and refine software enhancement or correction requests as they relate to the 340b, DSCSA Track and Trace, and EDI applications.
2. Update, test, and deploy application and database code as appropriate for assigned projects within the software development life cycle and according to coding and testing standards observed by the team.
3. Communicate project status to management regularly.
4. Follow workflow procedures used by the client.
5. Communicate effectively with team members and management.
6. Work independently and within a team when appropriate.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development technologies, including:
  • .NET/MVC using C#
  • SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and general administration
  • Team Foundation Server
  • Web service technologies like REST and WCF/SOAP
  • Entity Framework
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
  • General IIS configuration and operation
• Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of APIs and web services used in B2B communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and make logical business decisions given general guidance.
• Ability to consolidate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills at all management levels, including internal clients, customers, vendors, and business partners.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with occasional after-hours or weekend duties.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technology or related discipline.
• Three years of software engineering experience is a plus.
