Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full Stack Engineer 4 to own design and delivery of enterprise CI/CD platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines. You’ll help re-architect a platform to accelerate software delivery, lead a portfolio of tech initiatives, and embed compliance into the platform for automatic regulatory alignment.

You’ll work across JVM, Go, Python, TypeScript, containers, Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-based tools
• Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code is highly valued

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines across Capital One
• Help re-architect the CI/CD platform to enable higher velocity while preserving compatibility
• Lead a portfolio of diverse tech projects, providing technical leadership and mentorship
• Build compliance and control into the platform to automate regulatory obligations
• Stay current with tech trends and mentor engineers across the org
• Work across a broad stack including JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and AWS services
