Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full Stack Engineer 4 to own the design and delivery of the enterprise CI/CD platform used by thousands of software pipelines. You will work across JVM languages, Go, Python, and TypeScript, and influence platform architecture to scale with AI-assisted tooling.

You will mentor engineers, define API contracts, and lead cross-functional initiatives across AWS services and containerized workloads. The role offers a strong engineering impact and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization tools.
• Experience leading engineering efforts and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of CI/CD platform capabilities used by thousands of pipelines.
• Re-architect CI/CD platform to support higher velocity across teams.
• Lead portfolio of projects, setting engineering standards and improving craft.
• Build compliance and controls into the platform to meet regulatory obligations.
• Mentor engineers and participate in technical communities.
• Work across JVM, Go, Python, TypeScript; Kubernetes; AWS.
