Job summary

Capital One in Plano, TX is hiring a Full Stack Engineer 4 to own design and delivery of platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines. You will help re-architect the CI/CD platform for higher velocity and resilience, building APIs, and leading diverse engineering teams.

You will work across JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, containers, Kubernetes, and AWS services, while mentoring engineers and upholding coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or related technologies
• Experience with front-end JS/TS frameworks and back-end JVM languages

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines
• Help re-architect the CI/CD platform for higher velocity
• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects with technical leadership and mentorship
• Build compliance and control into the platform to meet regulatory obligations
• Mentor engineers and participate in technology communities
• Work across a broad stack (JVM, Go, Python, TypeScript; containers and Kubernetes; AWS)
