Job summary

Proactive Technology Management seeks a Senior Full-Stack BI Architect / Fabric Data Engineer to design enterprise-grade data solutions with a human-centric approach. You will drive medallion architecture, data modeling, and visualization using Power BI and the Microsoft Cloud Data Stack.

You will lead ETL/ELT pipelines, develop dimensional schemas, and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs. Remote-friendly, senior-level opportunity with mentorship and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, BI architecture, or related role.
• In-depth expertise in medallion architecture, data modeling and data warehousing best practices.
• Proven ability to implement domain-driven design principles with ubiquitous language.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines within a medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for quality, scalability and accessibility across use cases.
• Architect and develop advanced data models reflecting domain-driven design, aligning with business domains and ubiquitous language.
• Design and implement star and snowflake schemas and medallion schema practices for flexible analytics structures.
• Create dynamic, user-centric dashboards and advanced reports in Power BI with real-time insights.
• Leverage DAX and Power Query M for sophisticated calculations and transformations.
• Build and optimize SQL-based solutions for data management, queries and integration.
• Use Spark Python for processing large datasets and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with leaders to define KPIs and align with organizational goals.
• Stay updated on data engineering and BI trends to drive innovation.
• Mentor team members in BI and data engineering best practices.
