Job summary

Proactive Technology Management is seeking a Senior Full-Stack BI Architect / Fabric Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions that prioritize domain-driven design and human-centric analytics. You will lead medallion architecture, star/snowflake schemas, and scalable pipelines in the Microsoft Cloud Data Stack, delivering intuitive dashboards in Power BI for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, BI architecture, or related role with enterprise-grade solutions.
• In-depth expertise in medallion architecture, data modeling (star/snowflake), and data warehousing best practices.
• Proven ability to implement domain-driven design (DDD) principles with ubiquitous language.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query M, and SQL with scalable BI solutions.
• Strong programming skills with Spark Python for data processing and analytics.
• Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Data Stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric).
• Track record translating complex datasets into intuitive insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and fast-paced environment adaptability.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead ETL/ELT pipeline design within medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold) ensuring quality and scalability.
• Architect and develop advanced data models reflecting domain-driven design and ubiquitous language.
• Design star and snowflake schemas and medallion schemas for analytics performance.
• Create dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports delivering real-time insights.
• Utilize DAX and Power Query M for sophisticated calculations and transformations.
• Build SQL-based data solutions for management, queries, and integration.
• Use Spark Python for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define KPIs and align with goals.
• Stay current with data engineering and BI advancements to drive innovation.
• Mentor team members to elevate BI and data engineering practices.
