Job summary

Worldscape seeks an experienced software leader to design and implement backend services and APIs powering scalable, secure agentic solutions. You will build data pipelines for real-time processing, architect distributed systems on cloud platforms, and integrate backend logic with React/Next.js frontends to deliver seamless user experiences.

You will also shape security practices, collaborate with product and QA, review code, and explore LLM orchestration and multi-agent capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building AI-driven applications or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or C++).
• Proven ability to work in agile environments, managing ambiguity and delivering impactful outcomes.
• 4-10+ years of hands-on experience with data pipelines, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks, agent orchestration, and knowledge representation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs to power scalable, secure, and efficient agentic solutions.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and real-time processing of large datasets.
• Architect distributed systems leveraging cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Integrate backend logic with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Typescript) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Design and implement security best practices across authentication, authorization, and data protection layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce standards for performance, reliability, and security.
• Continuously research and integrate emerging technologies such as LLM orchestration and multi-agent systems.
• Document architecture and decisions for transparency and maintainability.
• Influence platform evolution by contributing to low-code/no-code capabilities and AI-driven features.
