Job summary

Infinitive is seeking a Senior Consultant, Full Stack API Developer to architect, build, and optimize enterprise-grade APIs and microservices while delivering intuitive front-end interfaces.

Expect to work with Python and Java, apply Claude Code AI workflows, and leverage cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), OpenAPI, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver robust solutions in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience in full stack and API-centric application development.
• Deep, hands-on programming expertise in both Python and Java enterprise frameworks.
• Proven familiarity with Claude Code / Agentic AI workflows to plan, write, refactor, and review code changes.
• In-depth knowledge of API design paradigms (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC), microservices patterns, error handling, rate limiting, and API security.
• Solid proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and core cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Git, Linux CLI environments, Docker, and standard CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Python and Java.
• Connect robust backend endpoints with responsive frontend interfaces and client-facing web apps.
• Integrate Claude Code into daily development workflows for code generation, testing, refactoring, and debugging.
• Interface with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging queues, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical implementations.
• Enforce API design standards (OpenAPI/Swagger), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and security protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
