Job summary

DSFederal, Inc. seeks a Sr. Full-Stack/API Developer to architect, build, and deploy new web capabilities and RESTful APIs for the National Water Prediction Service (NWPS).

You will drive modernization and feature development for dynamic hydrographs and visualization tools, in support of NOAA missions. In the AWS NEC environment, design scalable microservices with Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, and S3; integrate OGC standards; guide automated testing, QA, and CI/CD with NOAA governance boards;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive full-stack and API experience; 8+ preferred.
• Proven RESTful API design and cloud microservices experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and automated testing gates.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack design and implementation for NWPS modernization.
• Develop high-throughput RESTful APIs and OGC spatial services.
• Integrate backend with HydroVIS and Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.0
• Build automated QA and CI/CD test gates and maintain linting standards.
• Conduct peer reviews and prepare release artifacts for CCB approvals.
