Job summary

DSFederal, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack/API Developer to build and evolve NWPS features, including new hydrograph visualization options and gauge location tools. You will implement API endpoints, create UI components, and handle spatial data ingestion within an Agile team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
3–5 years of full-stack web and API development experience.
Experience building REST APIs and querying relational/spatial databases.
Experience with Git workflows and automated tests.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deliver new full-stack features and RESTful API endpoints.
Ingest, transform, and store multi-source hydrologic datasets in PostgreSQL and S3.
Write automated unit and integration tests (Pytest, Jest, or unittest).
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/GitHub workflows.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and issue tracking in Jira/Redmine.
Support community code review and automated tests for contributions.
