Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with AI/ML experience in Dearborn, MI. The role emphasizes end-to-end feature delivery, building scalable apps, and AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to address real-world needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering, strong frontend (React) and backend (Python/Node.js) skills, and cloud experience with GCP. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting production software applications.
• Full-stack development experience with modern frontend technologies such as React.
• Backend development experience using Python or Node.js.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and API design.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and an interest or experience in developing LLM-based features.
• Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and software security practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables, solve problems proactively, and learn new technical domains quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver software features across frontend, backend, and data layers, including deployment and production support.
• Transform working prototypes into secure, reliable, and maintainable software applications.
• Design and evaluate technical solutions, including data models, APIs, and system integrations.
• Utilize AI coding tools and develop AI-powered features with appropriate guardrails, evaluation, and human oversight.
• Integrate applications with existing tools, data sources, and legacy systems.
• Develop automated tests, review code, and follow best practices for security, CI/CD, and observability.
• Collaborate with engineers and end users to understand requirements and continuously improve applications.
• Share technical knowledge, participate in code reviews, and support team members.
• Identify technical debt, potential risks, and quality concerns while recommending solutions.
