Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. seeks a Staff Full-Stack AI Engineer (Level IV) to lead design and delivery of end-to-end production solutions in the specialty medication access ecosystem.

You will own AI-enabled features across UI, APIs, and backend services, partnering with product, architecture, data, security, and client services. The role requires mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring solution quality, reliability, and PHI-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems, with meaningful experience delivering AI or ML in production.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience: web apps, REST APIs, backend services, data access, testing, and ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack design and delivery of apps spanning UI, APIs, backend services, integrations, data, cloud, and AI components.
• Build GenAI and conventional functionality based on initiative needs.
• Translate business/healthcare requirements into technical strategy and incremental releases.
• Design secure, scalable REST APIs, event-driven services, and integrations.
• Resolve cross-team dependencies and drive production hardening and scale.
• Set standards for CI/CD, version control, containers, and infrastructure-as-code for AI workloads.
• Act as escalation point for complex production issues and defects in AI features.
