Job summary

Daimler Truck North America seeks a Senior Full-Stack, DevOps & AI Engineer to lead the design, development, deployment, and support of modern software applications, AI-powered solutions, and DevOps practices across DTNA manufacturing operations.

This role combines hands-on development with leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end delivery ownership from concept to production in a hybrid Portland, OR environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced experience with full-stack development.
• In plant logistics processes and software development experience.
• Experience with React/Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with .NET Core/C#/Python/Node.js.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and data integration.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, release management.
• Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with AI, Azure OpenAI, and data engineering.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership skills.
• Experience with DTNA ME productivity apps and IBM IMS/DB2.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack application development across front-end, back-end, APIs, and automation.
• Develop AI-powered solutions and intelligent tools for manufacturing operations.
• Drive DevOps and software delivery practices including CI/CD and observability.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements through production support.
• Lead cross-functional project execution across plant, corporate, IT and operations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation of patterns.
