Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Payroll Administrator. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility with the option to work in person or on a hybrid schedule.

The Senior Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll, balancing and reconciling payroll figures, preparing bi-weekly journal entries, and reconciling payroll accounts. The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, mastery of payroll procedures, and strong knowledge of payroll

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Mastery of payroll business procedures and principles.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Tax Levy, State and creditor garnishments, and IWOs’.
• Working knowledge of computerized payroll systems – ADP, Cognos, CP, SFT a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws pertaining to wages.

Responsabilidades

• Process full cycle payroll including balancing and reconciling payroll figures.
• Process New Hires, Intercompany transfers, and Terminations.
• Enter employee banking and tax changes in ADP.
• Review and post timesheets on a weekly basis.
• Prepare journal entries to record Bi-weekly payroll.
• Verify payroll, including overtime and leaves.
• Balance payroll data to the ADP Payroll Preview before submitting payroll to ADP.
• Perform three-way reconciliation between Timesheets, Costpoint ERP, and ADP with each payroll.
• Enter and process garnishments interrogatories (Tax Levy, IWO, State and creditor garnishments).
• Balance year end W-2 data including wages and taxes.
• Answer payroll inquiries from employees, management, banks, and government agencies.
• Prepare various payroll reports.
• Prepare additional journal entries as needed for void checks or errors.
• Perform reconciliations for payroll liability and cash GL accounts monthly.
