Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced bookkeeper to join our Accounting + Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage core accounting functions, ensure accuracy, and support year-end close.

We require 5+ years of bookkeeping, GAAP knowledge, payroll oversight, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software. Great benefits and training are offered to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and budgeting/cost control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Payroll management experience required.
• Experience with tax worksheets and computations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Administer payroll accurately and on time.
• Review financial statements for discrepancies.
• Maintain financial databases and filing systems.
• Prepare monthly statements: cash flow, P&L, balance sheets.
• Close end-of-month procedures.
• Collaborate with team and external auditors.
• Improve accounting procedures for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes.
