Job summary

Allegiant Air is seeking an experienced Fuel, Stations and Treasury Accounting Manager in Las Vegas to lead month-end close, reconciliations, and treasury activity. You will supervise teams and ensure SOX compliance while driving process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years of related accounting experience with supervisory responsibility, and SAP/Excel proficiency. CPA preferred. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

• Strong accounting background and US GAAP expertise.
• Experience with Financial Process Controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close activities including data validation, journal entry preparation and review.
• Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure outstanding issues are resolved timely.
• Review monthly treasury balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure outstanding issues are resolved timely.
• Supervise payment processing accounting functions, including debt and investment-related activity.
• Oversee fuel, stations and treasury accounting teams, ensuring deadlines are met and coaching provided.
• Develop and implement changes to policies, procedures and internal controls to improve accounting processes.
• Ensure SOX compliance and assist with audits and 1099 filings.
• Represent teams on cross-functional projects involving third-party systems and internal development initiatives.
