Job summary

The PHES (Propulsion-HVAC & Engine Systems) Senior Designer at Stellantis NV leads advanced design and packaging for propulsion HVAC and engine systems. You will use NX CAD to create explicit geometry, perform packaging studies and collaborate with engineers on manufacturing and service analyses.

Responsibilities include redesigning complex assemblies, conducting routing for fuel and cooling systems, applying tolerancing to 2D drawings and 3D models, and supporting cross-functional teams with

Qualifications

• Associate degree in design/engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of design experience with NX or CATIA.
• Extensive NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter experience.
• Strong written and oral communications to lead design and packaging meetings.
• Ability to read 2D drawings and 3D models with tolerancing.
• Willingness to travel up to 0-20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Creation of explicit geometry, including parametric modeling.
• Completion of advanced packaging feasibility studies.
• Completion of manufacturability and/or feasibility studies.
• Packaging assessments of new components / systems (e.g., Air Induction, Cooling, HVAC, Fuels, Exhaust).
• Working with engineers to complete manufacturing/service studies.
• Redesign models and complex assemblies to improve design quality.
• Commonization studies.
