Stellantis NV’s Propulsion-HVAC & Engine Systems team seeks a Senior Designer skilled in NX/CAID to package, design and check Engine System components. You will develop routing for exhaust, air induction, and cooling systems, collaborating with engineers across the propulsion domain.

Responsibilities include creating explicit geometry with parametric modeling, performing feasibility studies, and leading design reviews while traveling up to 20% domestically or internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in design / engineering or related area of study and relevant training / experience in design or engineering field.
• Minimum of 7 years of design experience including 7 years of experience in NX or Catia (basic skills test may be administered)
• Extensive experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter
• Strong written and oral communications to lead design and packaging meetings
• Strong organization, planning, and data management skills
• Ability to create designs per engineering standards
• NX Mechanical Routing
• Ability to understand, create, and interpret 2D drawings, 3D models and apply tolerancing
• 0-20% travel, domestic and international

Responsabilités

• Creation of explicit geometry, including use of parametric modeling.
• Completion of advanced packaging feasibility studies.
• Completion of manufacturability and/or feasibility studies.
• Packaging assessments of new components / systems (i.e. Air Induction, Cooling, HVAC, Fuels, and Exhaust systems, etc.).
• Working with engineers to complete manufacturing/service studies.
• Redesign models and complex assemblies to improve design quality.
• Commonization studies.
