Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama seeks a Senior Designer for the Propulsion-HVAC & Engine Systems Design Services team. You will use NX CAD to package and design engine system components, including air induction and exhaust systems, and coordinate with engineers on manufacturing studies.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in NX or CATIA, strong communication, and proven ability to manage complex assemblies and 2D/3D drawings, with 0–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in design/engineering with relevant training or experience.
• 7+ years of design experience with NX or CATIA.
• Experience with NX parametric solid modeling and Teamcenter.
• Ability to lead design and packaging meetings; strong communication.
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings and 3D models with tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Create explicit geometry using parametric modeling.
• Complete advanced packaging feasibility studies.
• Conduct manufacturability/feasibility studies.
• Package assessments for Air Induction, Cooling, HVAC, Fuels, and Exhaust systems.
• Collaborate with engineers on manufacturing/service studies.
• Redesign models and complex assemblies to improve quality.
• Conduct commonization studies.
