Job summary

Lumicity in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Engineer to help develop and scale next-generation fuel cell technology. You will own critical testing programs, drive performance improvements, and work across multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts to scale.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of engineering experience in chemical, process, mechanical, materials, or related engineering.
• Direct experience with solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), solid oxide electrolysis (SOEC), or closely related fuel cell technologies.
• Experience with cell or stack development, fabrication, testing, process development, or manufacturing.
• Background in electrochemical systems, ceramics, advanced materials, or high-temperature energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale solid oxide fuel cell technology from pilot to production readiness.
• Lead testing programs, analyze data, and optimize performance and durability.
• Own technical aspects across fuel cell development, testing, and scale-up.
