Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, engineering technology, or related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience in a lab, manufacturing, pilot production, or technical environment.
  • Proven ability to follow documented procedures and maintain high quality standards.
  • Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate lab equipment and technical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and process advanced fuel cell components in a hands-on lab setting.
  • Prepare materials; perform assembly, firing, processing, and post-processing tasks.
  • Support laboratory testing, system integration, validation, and long-duration test programs.
  • Operate and maintain furnaces, test stands, laboratory equipment, tooling, and related process equipment.
  • Follow written work instructions, quality procedures, and process controls; suggest improvements when you see them.
  • Stage materials, components, and assemblies for downstream testing and production activities.
  • Capture data, observations, and process details fully and accurately.
  • Communicate status, issues, and handoffs clearly with engineers and teammates.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, process deviations, and experimental failures.
  • Keep the lab safe, orderly, and inspection-ready.
