Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Customs Specialist, FTZ Administrator to ensure compliance with customs regulations and facilitate import/export activities. You will prepare and review accurate documentation, collaborate with clients and authorities, and maintain FTZ operations for efficient logistics.

The role requires familiarity with FTZ processes, 2+ years in customs/brokerage, and strong attention to detail. Eligible applicants work at our USA Itasca location with full-time hours and a robust

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage or related field.
• Experience with import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• Familiarity with international trade and transportation processes.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in using customs brokerage software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including entry forms, 214s, invoices, and other documents.
• Review and transmit weekly estimates and weekly entry 3461s and 7501s.
• Classify goods according to regulations and determine duty rates.
• Coordinate with clients, carriers, and government agencies for 214 admissions and clearances.
• Ensure compliance with tariff classifications, valuation, and country of origin requirements.
• Track and monitor admissions and entries to resolve delays.
• Communicate with customs officials, brokers, and stakeholders on inquiries.
• Maintain FTZ records and prepare annual reports and reconciliations.
