Job summary

Springfield, VA-based CACI International Inc. seeks an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to oversee industrial, personnel, physical, and information security for government programs.

You’ll administer the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) across multiple locations. You will lead security actions, coordinate audits, develop SOPs, conduct training, and manage visitor control and foreign travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial security, personnel security, physical security, information security, or Government security programs.
• Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) on classified Government contracts.
• Experience administering the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Facility Security Officer assigned to Government facilities and programs.
• Administer the NISP in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
• Manage personnel security actions including clearance processing and access authorizations.
• Oversee physical security programs supporting classified facilities and controlled areas.
• Coordinate security inspections, self-assessments, and Government audits.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for security operations.
• Conduct security training for program personnel.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
