Job summary

Research Innovations Incorporated seeks a Senior FSO/CSSO to lead security for mission-critical cyber programs at our San Antonio site. You will manage security operations, compliance with NISPOM, ICDs, SAP directives, and contract requirements, while mentoring two security professionals and coordinating with government security representatives.

The ideal candidate holds an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, demonstrates deep regulatory knowledge, and can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or equivalent experience.
• Ten+ years of progressive industrial or program security experience, including FSO responsibility.
• Experience leading site security operations and advising leadership.
• Direct experience with SCI and SAP environments, facility accreditation, CUAs, and documentation.
• Practical knowledge of NISPOM, ICD 705, Security Directives, DoD SAP requirements, and DD Forms 254.
• Experience preparing for government or customer inspections and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite Facility Security Officer and security advisor for the San Antonio location.
• Accredit, maintain, and modify SCIFs and SAPFs; coordinate CUAs with authorities.
• Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 and ICDs; manage approvals and dependencies.
• Serve as primary contact with government security representatives and customer offices.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Contracts, Facilities, and IA on security requirements.
• Manage clearance processing, access verification, and personnel security records.
• Develop security procedures for access control, material handling, and destruction.
• Lead self-inspections and coordinate corrective actions with government bodies.
• Deliver security training and briefings; maintain training records.
• Collaborate with IA to support classified information systems security activities.
