Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in composite product design (10+ years preferred).
• Expertise in closed-mold composite processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of FRP composite products for infrastructure applications.
• Collaborate with the Composite Sales Manager on tailored design solutions and OEM relationships.
• Drive value engineering to improve design efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, especially RTM and vacuum infusion.
• Interpret codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ASTM) for design compliance.
• Perform structural analysis and guide product testing & validation.
• Support cross-functional teams (production, QA/QC, sales, PM).
• Travel as required and maintain safety and professional standards.
