Job summary

Brex is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to work across the Brex stack, building and maintaining new products and tools to scale our platform. You will help deliver a best-in-class financial software experience for growing companies.

You’ll drive business impact, lead multi-functional projects, and partner with Sales and Support to understand customer needs, while shaping the technical vision with a high-quality bar.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies and tools such as ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
• Experience developing client-facing software products.
• Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-end.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and operations teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and writing skills.
• Basic experience with design tools; familiarity with React Native for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end, considering UX, data models, scalability, operability, and metrics.
• Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products.
• Collaborate with sales and support to understand customer needs and feedback.
• Design and implement experiments to improve customer experiences.
• Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
• Drive direct business impact and shape long-term technical vision.

• As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be working across the entire Brex stack, creating and maintaining new products, features, and building tools to help scale Brex
• You will have the opportunity to learn and push the frontier of providing the best financial software experience to help companies grow
• You’ll be encouraged to be metric and data-driven and to think creatively to help Brex scale and get prepared for the new markets we are about to enter
• We’re looking for folks with not only an interest in building products and tools but also interested in leading multi-functional projects with lots of moving pieces

• Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products
• Work side-by-side with user facing teams (Sales, Support) to best understand the needs of our customers
• Design and implement experiments to improve our customer’s experiences
