Job summary

Brex is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to work across the stack, building and maintaining new products and tools that scale Brex’s platform. You will be responsible for end-to-end frontend development, from user experience to data models and performance, while collaborating with product, design, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, high engineering standards, and the ability to drive multi-functional projects with a strong impact on the business and customer

Qualifications

• Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end to end.
• 7+ years of professional frontend experience with modern technologies (ES6+, React, TypeScript).
• Experience developing client facing software products.
• Uphold high engineering standards and write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Work across the Brex stack to create and maintain new products and features.
• Lead multi-functional projects with moving parts and coordinate with product, design, and operations teams.
• Design and implement experiments to improve customer experiences and metrics.
• Own problems end-to-end, considering UX, data models, scalability, operability, and metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales and Support to understand customer needs and translate them into frontend solutions.
• Polish features to a high degree of excellence and reliability.
