Job summary

Brex in New York is seeking a full-stack engineer to build customer-facing products and shape the company’s technical vision. You will work across teams to deliver features end-to-end, focusing on high-quality engineering standards and scalable solutions. The role combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility to support growth in new markets.

You will contribute to banking product experiences, learn rapidly, and help Brex scale while delivering direct business impact for customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications.
• Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers across the company to build new features end-to-end.
• Work alongside Sales and Support to understand customer needs.
• Design and implement solutions to improve customers’ banking experiences.
• Own problems end-to-end, from UX and data models to scalability and operability.
• Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.

Job description

• As an engineer at Brex, you will help develop new products from concept to launch, whether for a 5-person startup or a 5,000-person-strong enterprise

• You’ll be building customer-facing products that will drive direct business impact and shape our long-term technical vision with a high-quality bar

Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-endThis role will be based in our New York office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
