Job summary

Modern Family Law is seeking a Senior Frontend React Engineer to lead the frontend architecture of a greenfield family law product. You will design and implement complex user workflows in React and TypeScript, collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers to deliver scalable, AI-enabled capabilities.

You will own patterns for forms, routing, validation, and performance, while ensuring accessibility and security.

Qualifications

• Residence within commutable distance to Colorado offices (Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Denver).
• Production experience building React and TypeScript apps with complex workflows.
• Frontend architecture for products with significant backend integration.
• Strong component architecture, state management, forms, routing, and patterns.
• Experience with multi-step/workflow apps including validation, persistence and error states.
• Knowledge of frontend auth flows and role-aware interfaces enforced by backend.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture and React/TypeScript implementation from components to production workflows.
• Translate designs into production experiences with product/backend alignment.
• Own patterns for complex multi-step workflows, including validation, autosave, resume and error handling.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and data structures.
• Establish frontend patterns: state, routing, forms, and reusable design patterns.
• Build secure, role-aware experiences with proper permissions and workflow state.
• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into product workflows with clear UX for AI results.
• Own frontend performance, accessibility, responsiveness and production quality.
• Establish testing practices for critical components and user workflows.
• Review code and set frontend standards to guide the team.
