Job summary

Multi Media, LLC is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer focused on frontend performance tuning and optimization. You will join the Viewer team responsible for high-traffic experiences across search, video, and site navigation.

You will investigate browser rendering, profile production bottlenecks, analyze memory usage, and guide the organization on performance best practices. Role offers a fully remote option and strong compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Expert-level front-end framework experience.
Proficiency with Chrome DevTools and performance tools.
Leadership in identifying high-impact work.
Strong understanding of browser internals.
Experience improving Core Web Vitals.
Experience diagnosing memory leaks.
Ability to optimize rendering and asset delivery.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, triage, and lead resolution of unnecessary renders, long tasks, memory leaks, forced reflows, layout shifts, expensive painting, and excessive JavaScript execution.
Define and improve measurable performance targets using real-user monitoring, Lighthouse, synthetic testing, Chrome DevTools traces, and product-level metrics.
Establish performance budgets, dashboards, and alerts.
Raise performance capabilities through talks, workshops, documentation, mentoring, code reviews, and reusable tooling.
