Job summary

Proventus Metrics is seeking a seasoned Performance Engineer with a frontend focus to drive performance improvements across enterprise applications hosted in cloud-native environments. You will analyze bottlenecks, tune JVMs, and optimize rendering, caching, and data access paths while monitoring end-user experiences.

You will work with APM tools like AppDynamics, New Relic, and Datadog, as well as profiling tools and modern observability dashboards.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in performance analysis and observability across enterprise applications.
Strong expertise in diagnosing bottlenecks, tuning systems, and driving frontend and backend performance improvements in cloud-native environments.
Proficient in using APM and profiling tools to deliver actionable optimization recommendations.

Responsibilities

Conduct end-to-end performance analysis across applications, databases, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks using APM and profiling tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, JFR, YourKit).
Optimize system performance through JVM tuning, analysis, thread management, query optimization, caching strategies, and microservices enhancements.
Design and execute performance testing strategies (load, stress, soak, endurance, scalability) using JMeter, Gatling, and K6.
Analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable recommendations to improve reliability, scalability, and user experience.
