About the role

As a frontend engineer, you will work with core web technologies and Python to build complex UI components that empower users to develop powerful applications with minimal code. You will respond quickly to the changing needs of our user base to enable new and exciting use cases.

You will help maintain a popular open-source library and nurture an engaged community, guiding users to contribute to and utilize the tools you build. Collaboration will be daily with researchers, ML practitioners, data scientists, and software engineers via GitHub, Discord, and Slack.

About You

You are passionate about open source and making machine learning accessible. You have professional experience with TypeScript and a JS framework (React or Svelte preferred). You are comfortable working directly with core web APIs (canvas, audio, etc.).

Ideally, you have a few years of experience, prioritize user needs, and enjoy collaboration. However, technical skills are important, but we also value kindness, thoughtfulness, and engagement.
